The Teufelsberg (Devils Mountain) is a hill in a forest at the outskirts of Berlin. It was erected after the second worldwar on the foundations of the fascist military university project with the rubble of the ruins of Berlin. In the cold war the western allied forces built on top of it a surveillance station with huge parabolic antennas. Being abandoned by them in the 90´s it was planned to be transformed into a luxury resort. The transformation had already started, a model flat had allready been built when the economy collapsed. Newly abandoned it is now open for vandalism and individual destruction, the future uncertain. The project makes visible and audible the energies of construction and deconstruction compressed at this site along the open and covered traces of the past .
