The core cell of “Darwin Nuclear Species” is a short electronic sound similar to that of a Geiger counter. After complex digital manipulation, filtering and editing a 16 min “species like” soundscape emerged. At the same moment, by coincidence, the 200th anniversary of Charles Darwin’s birth took place. The entire composition can be played as a loop for the performances.
